FAQ

What is the difference between the two formulas?

The main difference is in the ingredients. The “Complete blend plus” formula contains scallops, lobster & 100% spirulina. A combination of both formulas will be optimal for most reef tank fishes.

How should I feed the food?

We recommend using the food frozen in a feeding pouch or mesh. This method simulates natural feeding and promotes a cleaner environment ensuring the consumption of all the food. There is no need to thaw our food but it can be done if preferred.

Do I need to add vitamins or Garlic to the food?

Both formulas contain real garlic, vitamins and minerals in the right proportions. There is no need to add anything to the food.

How much food should I feed my fish?

We recommend as many small feedings as possible. Usually a small feeding in the morning and another at night works for most fishes.

Do I need to complement with other foods?

There is no need to complement our food. This is all you need to maintain your fish healthy. However, I realize that sometimes it is necessary to feed dry foods specially when you are out all day or away, in this case you should choose a high quality pellet that contains the least amount of pollutants. I have added a few choices to my website.

Why is aloe vera in the food?

I started experimenting with aloe vera in my fish food formula when I learned of all the wonderful properties and abundance of vitamins, minerals and other beneficial substances that it contains. Some of the minerals found in aloe vera juice include calcium, sodium, iron, potassium, chromium, magnesium, manganese and zinc. It has Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E, Folic Acid and Niacin. Aloe vera also contains amino acids and a rich supply of building materials that help to produce collagen an, essential protein found in all animals and specifically in fish scales.
